2QQS AND MXP5 FOR TAYLOR AT INDY TRIAL

Thankfully, back in the running

Taylor bounced back from a back injury and crate rest to earn two double Qs and his MXP5 title. The two QQs count as the fourth and fifth toward PAX3, bringing him a quarter of the way towards that goal in just three trials and three months.

The double Qs brought five of the six QQs needed to qualify for the 2012 AKC Agility Nationals, also in just three months and three trials of qualification. He also earned the first leg toward MXP6 and the fifth and sixth legs toward MJP7. Most of all, it was great to see Taylor running like his old self. Seems the rest had done him good.

On Sunday, I had some bad fruit at the hotel and was sick as a dog by the Standard run. Taylor sensed it and pulled more than his tiny weight to get the job done with accuracy, once again showing his ability to step up to the challenge when the chips are down. I treasure every moment with my special little dog lately. At eight years old, time with him seems extraordinarily precious.
