2010 AKC Preferred National Agility Championship 4" Finalists

Here's one for the little guys.

All these guys had challenges. All had mountains and high A frames to climb. And yet, the smallest and least likely of the agility tribe stood up, stepped forward and at last, claimed their prize.

Appearing here with Finals Judge, Tammy Domico:

In fourth place, Mike McCoy's Papillon Rusty (MACH2 Bodey Full of Mischief CDX RA MXP2 MJP2).

In third place, Tom Gilpin's Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rion (CH Haley's Orion MX MXJ MXP3 MJP4 PAX).

In second place, my own little Papillon Taylor (U-CD Wingssong Sweet Baby James CD RE AX AXJ MXP3 MJP4 PAX OFP).

And in first place and winner of the first Preferred National Agility Championship (PNAC) title, Nancy Lewis' Toy Poodle, Frazzle (MACH Sassafras of Diamond Dream CDX RN MXP2.MJP2).

Congratulations to all of our fellow winners!

We at View From 4 Inch would also like to recognize the valiant achievement of the other 4 inch competitors:

Deborah Funk's Yorkshire Terrier, MACH 2 Mickey (Mickey Mouth Van Funk MXP3 MJP3 OF OFP PAX)

Doreen Pichette's Scottish Terrier, Mikky (Drageara Wind Dancer Mikail MX MXJ MXP2 MJP4).

John Willmore's Dachshund, Remy (FC Wagsmore's My Favorite Martin CD RAE4 MX MXJ MXP5 MJP7 PAX2 XFP ME.

The four inch handlers were a most supportive group and I think all can be proud of the showing we put in at this inaugeral event. Congratulations to all, and we wish everyone many more wonderful years with these bright and highly accomplished little dogs.

Going mobile

Looking forward to Nationals,
and no, it isn't being hosted downstairs.

And here we go, getting ready for the debut of the Preferred jump height at the 2010 AKC National Agility Championships. We have our state uniform and reservations have been made. A trip to Nationals is something I never in my life envisioned being able to do. How special it is to be able to do this with Taylor. He is such a wonderful dog and I am blessed to be able to start on this adventure with him.
